Iluminati Part 2- The Organization

So recently we talked about the founder of the the Illuminati, Adam Weishaupt and now were going to take a look at the beginning of the organization. Like the pyramid on the back of the U.S. one dollar note, which has the date 1776, so to was the Illuminati formed and put into place. In this part of the series were going to talk about the structure of the secret society in the earliest stages.

Adam Weishaupt,Illuminati,Secret Society.
Adam Weishaupt Founder.

The organization is made up of 3 levels. the novice, Minerval, and the Illuminated Minerval. The Illuminati was set up in a similar fashion to that of the Masons or Jesuit order, However Jesuits were not permitted to join the group without the permission of the groups leader Weishaupt. Their aim was to create a One World Goverment free of the constraints of religion and monarchical rule.

All the members where required to adopt classical names for identification within the group. Weishaupt was known as 'Spartacus'. His right-hand man, Xavier von Zwack, a lawyer to Prince von Salm, was known as 'Cato'; Nicolai, the bookseller, was 'Lucian'; Professor Westenreider was 'Pythagoras'; Canon Hertel was 'Marius'; Marquis di Constanza was 'Diomedes'; Massenhausen was 'Ajar'; Baron von Schroeckenstein was 'Mohomed'; and Baron von Mengenhofen was 'Sylla.'

The Illuminati's HQ was in Munich Germany. It was known as the (Grand Lodge of the Illuminati) how original. It was also refered to the Lodge of the Grand Orient. Code named Athens it served them along with the other 4 lodges Ingolstadt was known as (Ephesus), Heidelberg as (Utica), Bavaria as (Achaia), and Frankfurt was known as (Thebes).

But as if changing your name and the name of places wasn't enough why not change the calender to suit your needs to so they did. They change the names of the months and christened their new year as May 21st the pagan date for the new year.

So now we know who the Founder is and the early foundation of the Illuminati what we'll look into in our next installment is the connection between Illuminati and the Masons. I would like input from you as to what you think or if you have different or additional information. All the information I post here in these articles is from researced sources, so I'm just the messenger. The only way to get the truth out is to share it with others. So do that!!! and until next time Take care.

Illuminati Part 1 The Founder.

I think the best way to start shedding light on the Illuminati is to look at the founder of the organization, Adam Weishaupt, While his ideas for the Illuminati are not new, the certainly are worth a closer look. As we move through this series for the conspiracy educated reader this will seem like old hat however, in this I'm trying to appeal to the seasoned conspiracy buff and the new reader alike. Hopefully as we move on we will all learn something new about our world and the forces behind the scenes that direct it.

So who is the founder of the Illuminati, that infamous secret society that's been the topic of so many books and movies, most recently Angels and Demons the sequel to the hit movie The Da Vinci Code both by Dan Brown. That man is D. Adam Weishaupt, born on February 6, 1748, the son of a Jewish rabbi, Johann Georg Weishaupt , after his death in 1753 when Adam was only 5 he came under the care of Johann Adam Freiherr von Ickstatt, his grandfather. During this time Adam was converted to Catholicism and had his education taken over by the Jesuits

Even though Adam would become a Jesuit priest his attitude towards them changed greatly in later years when he became an atheist. Adams education continued at his grandfathers library in Ickstatt, which introduced him to french philosophers such as Voltair which would come to influence his views, but also at University of Ingolstadt from which he graduated in 1768 with a doctorate in law at only the age of 20. During the next three years he would tutor untill being made associate professor of law in 1762 and a year later full professor of Civil Law. After the Popes suppression of the Society of Jesus, Adam was made Professor of Cannon Law a position that up untill then had only been held by Jesuits.

Against the wishes of his grandfather, Adam went on to marry Afra Sausenhofer it was at this point Johann would sever ties with his grandson. In 1775 he was made Dean of the Faculty of Law much to the disappointment of the Jesuits who were concerned about his quick rise and more importantly his liberal ideals.

His desire to replace religious ideas with secular ones would culminate after five years on May 1st 1776 as the (Order of Perfectibilists), which would later be known as the Illuminati. The Original name came from the thought that his secret organization could create a perfect people, Where does that sound familiar? Here's a quote from Adam from around this time.

"Princes and nations will disappear without violence from the earth. The human race will then become one family, and the world will be the dwelling of rational men."

He wrote of their aims: "To make the perfecting of reasoning powers interesting to mankind, to spread the knowledge of sentiments, both humane and social, to check wicked inclinations, to stand up for suffering and oppressed virtue ... to facilitate the acquirement of knowledge and science.
"

Brother Spartacus as Adam was known in the Order of the Illuminati, goal was to establish the New World Order not one based on Monarchical government or religions but one ruled by the great thinkers of the day. In 1777 he was initiated into the Masons of which we'll discuss in later Articles. But the secret Illuminati would not stay off the radar for long. While preparing to set his plans in motion for French Revolution which was to begin in 1789 his courier was struck by lightning and the documents were discovered and turned over to the Bavarian authorities. Charles Theodore Elector of Bavaria deemed these writings to be treasonous and set out to eliminate all secret societies in Bavaria. In addition he had copies of these writings sent throughout the land to warn others of the Illuminati and there plans.
In 1784 do to the trouble he was in with the government and having lost his position at the University of Ingelstatt he fled Bavaria. He was assisted by Ernest II who was a brother Mason as well as member of the Illuminati. Adam Weishaupt died in Gotha on 18 November, 1830 and was buried there with full Masonic honors.

So now we know who is and a little about what he stood for. My sincere hope is that as we move forward that you will be Enlightened as to the behind the scenes activities of the Illuminati.

Truth or falsity: The Da Vinci Code

As a history student the evils of popular history have been drilled into me. Now, that means I feel like I am committing a crime when I write a historical article on the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

Still, I felt that history needed some defence and so here is, very briefly, a bit of a look at the history behind the Da Vinci Code. If you want more there is a lot of detail on the web, or if I get enough comments requesting more I will consider it worthwhile to write a second article.
