Did We Land on the Moon.

With the new emphasis on the space program, from finding a replacement for the shuttle by privatizing to new trips to Mars. Has the question of “did we land on the moon?” ever been really answered? So the theory goes because we were in a technological race with the Soviet Union the good old U.S.A fabricated its moon landing. Certainly none of this information is new countless articles have been written on the subject for and against the moon landing. Let’s look at few of the questions that have been posed about the subject.

1. Why does the film clearly show a flapping flag but there is no wind on the moon?

2. Why is there more than one light source, when the only light source was the Sun, there was no artificial light source taken by astronauts to moon?

3. Why are there no stars in the sky?

4. The space suits and the space craft were just not strong enough to fight off the radiation either on the Moon itself or through the Van Allen radiation belt so how did they survive?

5. Why was there is no engine noise behind the voice of the astronaut as it comes down to land on the moon. The sound of the engines should have been clearly detectable?

There have been other questions raised. These however seem to be the ones I get the most feel free to add others. Tomorrow I will answer these one at a time and try to add additional questions posted here.

Here are some answers to the above questions that I have been able to find.

1. The flag is not flapping in the breeze simply wobbling till it finds its center of gravity which is plausible in a vacuum

2. If there were two light sources why are there not additional shadows in the photographic evidenced from which this question came

3. The typical answer is that they are there, however they cannot be seen “Yeah I don’t buy this one either”

4. It is commonly stated that there radiation exposure was limited and that the suits they were wearing were adequate to protect them from the solar radiation of the moon.

5. Since there is no sound in space the reason only the astronauts voice could be heard is due to the microphones placement next to the astronaut’s mouth.

Would love to field additional questions about the lunar landing.
